Today there was another 3-4" of light dry powder from the 3,000-4,000 foot level. Nearly all the stumps and rocks and logs are safely covered, and there is deep powder up high and still good skiing powder on smooth crust near the road. If you know the area, it's a great time to go. Hopefully it doesn't get too windy tomorrow! I stayed on ridges, and trees, and stayed off the steeper road cuts. I did find some dangerous windslab conditions on one ridgeline last week! The last picture shows my tracks from the day before with another few inches of snow in them. Obviously there's not much traffic up here!
