February 22, 2014, Kendall Ridge

Went up to Snoqualmie Pass today with the expectation of only skiing the lower trees, but after digging a pit and finding a stable and dense snow pack we pushed on to the the Southern ridge of Kendall Peak.  Skied a run down the North face of the first knob through some awesome trees and then moved on to the East face of the ridge with the intention of only skiing one run.  We couldn't resist...we had to do it again 100 feet to the East....made it two runs.  It was just too awesome.  We then pushed on for the top of ridge followed by a descent down to the lakes and out.  All in all it was an amazing day of 5000 ft of skiing in some awesome snow.  No complaints.
