Went for a birthday tour and came home to my new whippet. Went out to the car, to unload my gear and found both the two upper portions of my poles fell off my bag on the way down.

Fwiw I am not a big fan on the new flicklock mechanism. It has opened on me touring, collapsing my pole in sketchy situations. I feel they are way too touchy, and spring open easily.
Others: We only went to the treeline, snow was stable but wind effected up high softer down low where wind protected.
