Left Seattle around 5:45, skinning at 7, back to the car at 10. Plunged my ski pole into the new snow to the handle without feeling the bottom. Skiing was mostly consolidated pow... some consolidation was helpful for letting us get some speed on low angle slopes.
We kept terrain choices conservative - plenty of safe terrain available. Top layer slabs sheared off easily, very similar to the NWAC Dallas Glass vid from earlier this week. Observations did not inspire us to investigate any steep slopes.
