Feb 13 Yodelin

Did some mellow skiing at Yodelin... seemed the only option I was comfortable in given trees down on 410 and rain forecast for snoqualmie. We kept it pretty dialed back all day. Top 4-5" was fresh from overnight skiied well but fractured (without propogation on our low angle slopes) whenever the skin track kicked up. A quick pit had a small failure at 6" down, looking like it released on the latest storm slab after 3rd hit from wrist. Second hit from shoulder failed below the ice crust. We skiied old growth where it was a bit scratchy, and some more open slopes where the snow was somewhat sheltered by small trees... good day out, careful to anyone venturing on anything steeper / more committing this weekend!
