Went up Kendall Knob for a quick tour with some first-timers. The ascent was pretty easy, though the snow was developing a bit of a crust on the surface. Also, the prior crust from the snow two weeks ago was still noticeable, though we didn't dig a proper pit to really investigate as we were staying well away from any slide paths or open faces.
We descended through the old growth stand back toward the PCT, skier's-right of our ascent. It was fairly tough going as the coverage is still very thin, even at the higher elevations. Definitely a bit disappointing, but still fun. A couple more feet of snow will really change things.
