runcle's last TR gave optimism for a tour without hiking in ski boots.
We observed decent coverage on Maggies' Run etc., and tracks on slopes near the ski area.
Very brisk morning with the road and trail fully covered and easy traveling to HH.  aIt was beautifully clear in the AM and great to see the front build from the west while the wind blew from the east.
A sucker-track led us toward the SE bowl, but quickly ended in dense trees and inadequate snow depth, so we backtracked to the trail.
The short N slope off the summit was HEAVENLY---8-10" really light snow with a base you could just barely feel,; did 2 laps.  Thanks to a forebearer for the skin track   :)
The SE bowl was not well enough covered; a splitboarder rode it, but we descended the the trail for the rockiest strech.  Nobody else skied this N side.
Back at the car at 4 pm, the temp. was 17 deg. with 15-20 mph winds.
