A 3:00 am departure is always enjoyable!
It was the usual at Adams...on the summit we challenged the rest of the climbers to a volleyball game, we cracked into the keg around noon, and then started the BBQ shortly after.
But seriously, despite the 70 mph winds the day before, everyone in washington, oregon and bc showed up to climb the south route with their dogs and grandmas. The SW Chutes looked OK despite reports to the contrary...we opted not to drop in...but two telers scored the goods.
