I can't remember there ever being an inversion that was a strong as the one we have been experiencing recently. Not a cloud in the sky once you get above the claustrophobic fog lingering around 2500 ft or so.
The afternoon sun was once again baking south facing slopes creating some pretty nice corn albeit shallow. I had a chance to ski the last 3 days in succession so I knew there was breakable crust lurking in the shade.
