Was time to get out of the fog, and Hurricane gave up some hero corn today. The meadow just south of the lodge was coming into shape so nicely at 10 am when I arrived , that I did a first-ever, and headed straight downhill through the meadows into a steep little gully. Very thin cover, but very nice corn, and a bit more vertical than I knew was there.

Next did two laps on Maggies (ridge you see from road on way up), one off the prominent nose feature 200 yards from the rope tow, the other quite close to Mt. Angeles; both were very pleasant. First lap was hero corn, 2nd was smooth and soft. Didn't venture to N. exposures, but they looked shaded, smooth, with mostly settled pow and some breakable crust.

David,  Great news on conditions.  Glad you could get out.  I'm jealous I couldn't join you as I'm imprisoned for the entire weekend in doors. :'(
