Dawn patrol at Hyak this morning. Rain almost all the way to the top before turning into a wet snowfall for the last few hundred vertical feet. Snow skied great at the top despite being very heavy and wet. Mid face got pretty gloppy and then got a little creamier at the bottom. Skied all the way from the top of the face to the car. Light rain was falling as we left around 8:00am. Probably will get slightly worse at the bottom but still skiable. The 4-5 turns at the top were worth it given what kind of winter weve had.
Who cares if it was raining we can lap Hyak now!! :D
