Better coverage lower down, snowmaking machines busy at the base. Quicksilver lift now running. In the basin 4-6 inches of new snow on variable rain crust. New snow fairly well bonded to crust, but also a fair amount wind transport of the new snow. Some areas had bare rain crust exposed. Decent turns in drifted in areas. Lift skiers attacked, but didn't demolish fresh snow areas of basin that they could easily access. We were the only skinners in the basin today. Day started clear, but just as we reached Threeway gap, fog rolled in to Silver Basin, but wasn't thick enough to create braille skiing conditions.
