Dec 27, ONP Hurricane Hill Steep and Icy?

I knew it was going to be slim pickin's for snow but I was curious just the same. Is it December? I was blown away on the ski out. Steep and Icy would be void of snow if it were not for the road cut.
The icy windpack on the northside was solid and skiable with maybe an inch of powder. Shaded zones...not worth it with breakable crust almost everywhere. Lets hope January makes up for the deficit!

Glad I'm still working 7 days a week, otherwise I'd have to think up another excuse not to go up there.................... ;)
Coincidentally, Jan hiked out to Hurricane Hill on Friday, brought back some similar pictures.
