Following up on Hotlum-Wintun Ridge July 2-4 w/ Jeff, Amar, Silas, Scotsman, and my brother Ben (plus several dozen climbers on the summit for Sunday), on Tuesday I skinned up to the summit via Avalanche Gulch and then managed to ski down to within 160 vertical feet of Bunny Flat.
Conditions were excellent all the way to Helen Lake: plenty of smooth corn away from the rather concentrated boot track. After that, servicable skiing to near Horse Camp, then it was glade skiing, traversing, xc, and connect-the-patches transportation.
