Got out for an early morning to early afternoon tour.  At parking lot at 0800 and arrived to 10 ish mph winds out of east, 19dF.  Day built into pretty good inversion.  Felt like 60 degrees at Skyline Lake, super sunny.  Snow was styrofoam board on wind scoured ridge top, dry about 1/2" crust in trees and icy down low.

Turns were entertaining, weather phenomenal, decent workout.

Nothing going to be decent until crust either breaks down or decent dump of snow.

Saw plenty of tracks out on Lichtenberg Mtn, looks like a group had good fun!
Did you drop into any north-facing slopes? I'd be surprised if it was so crusty and bad on those aspects.

made on "attempt" to ski off the NE side of the ridge, but it yielded semi breakable wind crust to wind board for the first 200 ft.  Once down in the trees, it was a little better, but the top was, well....aweful.  Needs snow!
