Nov 24, 2013, MRNP, Van Trump Park, Spring!?

Another day in the mountains: powder skiing last week, Spring corn this week! After ditching a plan to head north, headed south instead.  We were the only car starting at Comet Fall TH, there is snow pretty much from TH though not quite enough for skiing up/down until the bridge before the Fall.  After spending 30min for a "photo-emergency" at the Comet Fall (Radka's term, must be a Czech?), we basically followed the summer trail up to ~7500'.  Sunny and warm, spring in late Nov!  We had the whole place to ourselves. Nice creamy snow in the open, dense, but soft in the trees.  Beautiful day, fun companies, excellent skiing.  Wish the day was longer ;) More pics
