Quite a few people up on the field. Around Pebble Creek bulletproof grainy ice, above carve-able windboard, and for about 1000 vert feet below camp wind-affected snow with ridges. Temps around or slightly below freezing, slight breeze and no wind at all at Camp Muir. Coverage still not great (for example Pan Point face has a lot of exposed rocks up at the top) but overall the skiing was nice.
We're heading up tomorrow and I'm wondering about the road. I've heard it doesn't open until 9am. Is this true?

The road doesn't open before 9 in the winter ....thats how it is
The gate opened at about 9 this Sat.
