Did Rogers over the weekend. Ursus Trees and Hospital Gullies for the first day. Skin track into Ursus trees was sporty. Ursus Trees held phenomenal snow. Around a meter snowpack with a well settled base and 50cm of uber pow at treeline. Heard stuff occasionally pouring off Cheops N.
On Sunday the hordes appeared to be escaping the ongoing shit show at Highwood Pass by coming to Rogers instead. The info center parking lot was 3/4 full. Fearing the hordes already ahead of us I took my party up the side of the grizzly slide path to access the upper glades of Griz shoulder. Turned out to be a good call with excellent snow all the way down to the valley floor save for the last 50m of alder survival skiing.

Things will be crowded a little while longer for those without sleds until more zones become shredable.
