November 16 - Roe Creek - Sea to Sky

It looks like the south was the place to be this weekend. I however chose to stay north and ski in the sea to sky region. Whistler said 15cms so we figured 30cms would be about right on the other side of the valley.

Our trip involved a lot of this.



And a little of this. The visibility didn't really help the photo taking.



Slower start to the season up here. A lot of bushwhacking and not a lot of skiing. Avalanches are possible at the higher elevations now with the recent snows. The last storm brought some wind in the alpine.  With some high pressure coming in mid week it looks like we may have some long term challenging stability ahead this year.

Off to the interior for 14 days with a stop in Rogers pass and Revy opening day. Hoping for more snow!
