8)Arrived a the base before 9:00 am. Brought my poles without baskets that were removed or summer hiking o well. Decided to forge forward anyway, Going was easy at base but became more difficult as the snow depth increase (due to poles). Went up Debbies Gold. Whom ever set the track did a fine job. Reached the base of 2 in about 50 minutes and about 1 mile according to my gps. Reached the top of 2 in less than 2 hours. will remember to take baskets next time. Skiing was good until the middle of lower I where the rain began and giant boulders appeared. Getting to the base was a bit dicey but no rocks or creek  beds were found. Cannot wait for the next storm. Best runs inbounds the last two years were before opening
