Coquihalla Highway - Needle Peak Nov 9

Decided to try something north of the border this weekend. We knew the skiing would likely not be as good as heading back to Mt. Baker but the approach would be a whole lot shorter.
Headed up to the Coquihalla highway from Vancouver. This is an awesome area for skiing as it gets dumped on consistently over the season - and is slightly colder than Vancouver so the snow quality tends to be better.
Nothing beats a good bushwacking!
We found 40-60cms at about 4500ft and were weary of the rocks underneath. This area needs a couple of good storms to really be ready for skiing.
My suggestion is to keep to the glaciers the next little bit. Forecast isn't looking so good for this week. Crossing my fingers for some more snow!
