Headed up Bachelor to make some early turns. Snow was pretty variable--wind buffed in sheltered areas, icy in exposed areas, and cement at lower elevations. Decent coverage overall. See my full report here: http://kickturner.blogspot.com/2013/11/first-day-bachelor-as-backcountry.html
