Dick and I headed up Chinook Pass yesterday, skied mostly on East side of Naches. Tried a slope toward Dewey Lk, but found not enough snow, more rocks. East basin off the south ridge had a foot of dense powder over firmer base and skied very nicely. Saw a few skiers heading to Yakima side at the lot, but the rest were all borders, about a dozen!
