Mosetick and I hiked onto Naches Peak for a short run, then scrambled down to the PCT and followed another pair's tracks to about 5700', where we started skinning up the east side of the NE bowls of Naches. We did 2-3 laps on the most filled-in gullies and troughs. There was about 3-8" of light fresh on a mix of crusty leftovers from September, grasses, and a wee cobble every 10 turns or so. Duckbill boots, bindings and rock skis :)
It snowed lightly most of the day.
I'd say Monday's snow and a couple of days of the forecasted precip. on what was there today could mean some plenty good November tours....
