Thought we'd enjoy some of the recent snow fall. Hiked from the parking lot and were able to skin from the bottom of Forest Queen chair. I apologize now for anyone who follows our skin track as there are other more efficient routes. But after a few minor river crossings we made it to the major incline. The ridge line showed 50cm of coverage, or just under 20 inches. We hit no rocks on the descent. Skiing proved to have a punchable crust but in the sun it was soft enough to make turns. Enjoy it while it lasts.
