5" light snow overnight made for some great turns for the locals and their followers on the Zig Zag glacier above 9000' and along the Magic Mile below 7000'. In between was variable from ice to powder with a few shark fins lurking below the surface. Lots of sun above 7000', foggy below. After noon skiing from 6000' was heavy foot deep fresh to the road at 5240'.

Timberline staffer chauffered me back up from there! Oregon TAYers provided post ski coffee. Awesome southern hospitality. Thanks.
