Sept 19 Van Trump

Well, much inspired by the trip report a few weeks ago, I set out to find these Van Trump Glaciers. This was my first time in that area. This trip marked my 48th month, so I wanted to celebrate the 4 years by doing something different. I ended up packing overnight gear, thinking that I would sleep up there and maybe ski the following day. That didn't happen and I carried too much shit for one summer day of skiing.

Anyway, I made it to the glaciers and skied a lap on pretty decent snow. There was one line that looked very fun and much longer, but I was pooped and headed out after my ski. Will definitely be back to the area earlier in the season when there is more snow pack and coverage. But all in all a very fun 4th birthday!
