It turned out to be a beautiful blue bird day on the way up to Muir. Started out around 8am with Brian T.  He sped up ahead then skied down to me just above the moon rocks (such a sweet guy!) Unlike a couple of weeks ago we didn't hit snow until Pebble creek. There was a few inches of fresh snow just above 9000 ft. with a few small cracks here and there. Views were great you could see Adams, Hood, and Helens.  Unfortunately about half an hour after we got to Muir it became a total whiteout and we could see maybe 50 feet. Had to zigzag around the boot track on the way down to keep things going smoothly.  Hit some nice corn on the way down too. All in all a fun day! Month 11 for me and 19 for him. Looking forward to my year next month  ;D
Hi Bel,
Welcome to TAY and thank you for your conditions update.  Might have to head up there myself to get September turns.

Thank you :) I couldn't get pictures to load, so Brian T did it for me in his post
