Thanks GregSimon for the TR that helped make up our mind. Skinning starts just past Sluiskin Memorial before the bridge on Skyline Trail. The melt-outs on the left will be okay for a little while but I was glad Greg mentioned them.
We pulled off skis a couple times at the first waterfall and for some rocks, but it was almost all skinning with ski crampons past the upper crevasses. Not much crevasse at 8500' or so yet. The suncups were only size A but the skier ruts made us weave between them like snow snakes ;D Get your glide wax on for the skating on the flats!

Mack is back to take a whack at crossing the tracks on boards with wax! Looking for cracks, enjoying snacks, probably wearing slacks.
