We hiked out to Ptarmigan ridge area from Artist Point on Saturday. The hike to where it was skiable was probably less than 20 minutes. Skiing was soft sun-cups. The sun and scenery made it plenty enjoyable. We stuck to lapping a mellow line that was short and sweet, and enjoying our time outdoors.
Looks like there will be decent skiing in the area for at least a little while more.
