Needing July turns without putting too much strain on some stretched ligaments in my ankle, Lisa and I shuttled each other for a few runs above the visitor center. Most of the lines off Artist and Table are no longer continuous, but the run from the last turn before Artist Point was skier-groomed into a long strip of white. Suncups were 1-1-1/2 feet, but soft enough to cut the tops off. This was about as easy as July skiing gets---We would have had to hoof a lot farther just to get to the lifts at Timberline!
