WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

Jill and I arrived at noon and it was 67 degrees .Dege Peak had 4 sets of very nice ski tracks. Two folks did a skier right exit and the others skied a lower line. The Dege slopes had the pinkglow and good coverage. The slopes from Dege Peak to Sunrise Lodge are not ski able. The slopes are getting bare and have the pink glow. We planned to ski the easy slopes due to my stroke last year but there is very patchy snow. Hopefully, the back side of Sourdough Ridge still has coverage. It is time to put the boat in the water and catch pink salmon and crabs starting July 1st . ;)
