Lots of snow remains in the ski area. White Salmon and Shuksan N and NW look good. Five cars were parked at the lodge gate today. First suncups I've had to ski this year. Herman skiing fast and sticky less. Road plowed to Austin Pass, visitor center lot not. Road gated at upper ski area parking.

We spent 4 days touring around the area. Coleman pinnacle was a mank march on rainy Thursday the 13th, certainly not the best choice to introduce the area to my guest from Europe; steep line to skiers right of prow below Table was great, Friday the 14th. Herman up the SW side and down E SE was wonderful Saturday after a hard freeze. Opted out of Fathers day march up Herman saddle but heard it was pretty runneled.

Big cornice broke off above blueberries sounded like thunder, shown in background of third photo.
