There is still plenty of skiing available at Cayuse and Chinook Pass, as I learned today in slightly sloppy snow conditions on sunny slopes.  Shaded regions had fairly stiff snow, a bit surprising to me at 4500-5500' altitude.  Driving twice as far to skiable snow as yesterday was no fun.
Must have missed you yesterday, Silas! I was near Chinook Pass yesterday :)

Was that your Corolla with the orange tape hanging from the driver's side?

Dang that chute looks pretty full compared to the times we hit that in June. Nice job. Last time we hit that in June the choke was ski width wide and no way to side slip or our boots would boot out. Add lightning and thunder storm and it was an epic. Glad I had a baseball hat and sunglasses for protection.  8)
