June 5, 2013, Mt Adams South

Like everyone else, Fletcher and I decided to do the south spur route in this good weather. About 10 vehicles at th. Minimal boot packing on the bottom and minimal bootpacking on the top. Ski crampons were helpful. Windy.

For a number of reasons, not the least being our laziness to avoid the traverse, we chose not to ride the sw chutes. Down Pikers was good if you hit it early enough. Surface was a bit rough/bumpy in some areas which detracted from the ride. We started early / ended early and it was still pretty darn soft at the end. Spencer and Mike, fun hanging out and riding down with you dudes.
