The forecast certainly deterred the masses as very few people were out on Sunday.  We had pocket views of Tahoma and the summit at times as we walked in through a light mist.  Booting was very easy, but eventually we switched to skinning.  There was a snowbridge across the creek allowing for quick direct approach to glacier basin with no need to switchback up through the trees.  That snow bridge had a hole in it by the end of the day tho...

Great views at times, dizzying whiteout at times.  We sat on Steamboat Prow and watched a group of 4(?) ski the upper Winthrop.  Then the clouds engulfed us and we headed down.  Emmons and Winthrop seem pretty fat right now, and will someone ski that sweet line down Russell cliff!?  ;D
