Enjoyed some really nice skiing from the top of Baker yesterday - down around 10'ish yielded carvable snow on the Roman wall and then great corn to about 6700 where the mush began.  Sloppy till treeline.  Ski to car which is about 10 minutes travel time (1/2 mile or so) from the trailhead.  Good skiing up there now......
- fjellfolk,  translates mtn. folk ?

yes, mountain folk / people
Lytt til erfarne fjellfolk = listen to experienced mountain folk - from Norwegian mountain code- http://www.visitnorway.com/us/About-Norway/Safety-first/The-Norwegian-Mountain-Code/

Rafe and I had a great time as well. Left the road at 1/2 mile before TH at noon on Saturday. Left behind about 60 cars that had populated the narrow road. Hummers with sleds and Smart Cars with ski racks - quite the assembly of folks. Never seen that many people up there.

Arrived to Crag View with tons of people. All campsites were pretty much taken, so we accepted our fav lower site that was on dirt, which was nice. Lightly rained on the way up and then poured when we got in the tent.

Went after a dusk patrol and got up to 7200 and skied the mank all the way to camp. Decent evening, just clouds and no rain.

Woke up at 6am to Bluebird, warmth and sun. Headed out of camp around 7 and topped out at 8500' to get the best ski conditions. Clouds came in and out but the ski down was pretty darn good hero corn. Back to camp and headed out. Stayed on the correct trasil for the 1st time ever from treeline to the car, which we made it to by 12 noon.
