Mt. Shasta's Avy Gultch skied great from just below the summit at the steam vent all the way to Horse Camp. The skiers' and climbers' routes intersect at Helen Lake Camp. Make sure to ski the amazing corn on the west side of Red Bluff opposite the climbing route on the east side of the bluff.
The walk from the Bunny Flat trailhead to Horsecamp was a well maintained dirt path. Continuous snow from HC. Fresh spring water and composting toilets at HC too.
