Fresh snow yesterday afternoon above 4500' made for a sloppy surface today, hissing sluffs on very steep slopes. Once the dozen or so of us cleaned our west slope, it skied somewhat better, but still more buttery than corny. Below 4500' was slightly better skiing. New skiers were coming and going all day long. The road is drivable to continuous snow now, but everything is melting fast so the set track into the north bowl from the cars could change very soon with gradually warming temperatures the next several days.
