headed to muir yesterday, and it was as expected.... manky. Sopped in below the snowfield, partial clearing above 8000', no wind. A couple feet of accumulation up high. descent snow from around 9000 to 7500 wind buffed above, super sticky below
Set off a wet slab doing a ski cut around pan point. No propagation, started really slow and built speed. About 8" deep, ran to where it flattened out. Debris was about 5-6 feet deep and solid.
