I played hookie on Monday with my soccer buddy, Tom. Third time's a charm as I hit the Fuhrer with the best corn I have ever skied on a volcano! 7.5 hours from the parking lot, we dropped into the Finger with 2-3" of corn on the base that resembled a billard table and zero avi debris. Boot penetration ranged from 0-2 inches on the climb up. From 11,200 to 7,200' we ripped gs turns to the fan then endured minimal slop down the fan.

No wind, fl at 9,500 and steady gave us the best run off Rainier I have had ever!

Conditions are solid and should be skiable for a while these cool conditions prevail.
the Sierra (Mammoth, Tioga Pass areas) - ditto.    As we've had a few inch storm, the past few wks.

Looking good guys!
I'm stoked you got the weather and the snow.
