Great to be able to link an errand up with Pilchuck skiing!  Thanks John for being another available senior so we had a fun lap in slushy 2-4" corn before returning to the summit for a rendezvous with Pilchuck locals and a gaggle of girls for senior sitting snacks and wine, then a fun run down to the cars for evening BBQ and beverages.  Weather, company, skiing, and long daylight hours made for an excellent day.

It is now possible to drive within half a mile of the trailhead, and there is a nice thread of snow, so no road walking.  Creep cracks are opening more everyday, watch for them; otherwise the skiing is safe and fun with minimal pollen.
Nice day out for some turns

in case you didn't know..

This photo is full of Mountain Loop win!

How come I never get invited to all the cool stuff (and some skiing)  :(

Awesome parting 'shot'!

Dang, I wish you'd gotten the heat out before I left Chris! Nice pics.

Hahaha! Next apres, I think will dig out the dirt bikes, bonfire, and something worth shooting at (spent propane bottles)! :)

Ha, so you guys were TAY'ers...I was the guy in the red Subaru wagon that left around when you were getting ready to BBQ.

Hope you enjoyed the turns as much as I did!

What the heck??
Looks like you are in Greenwater....Drinking and shooting with no backdrop on the road.

On a Monday? Am I the only one trying to hold this economy together?

As I sit here in my cubicle looking at a deteriorating weekend weather forecast the same thought crossed my mind!

This was a dusk patrol boys, some of us actually went to work earlier in the day. The real question is how does Silas get all these beautiful women to carry wine and cheese up for him!

nice, Jim

I was actually thinking what a lucky group of gals, getting to hang out with the wild one. time to get myself some yoga pants.

I'm in Jeff. I've got a boat load of mostly empty jetboil cans saved up for such an occasion.

(and kyle, you would have gotten your invite if you made it to Ben's bar-b-q the night before.)

Some mighty fine pics!

Looks like an epic day on Pilchuck.  The photos were awesome. Do you know anything about snow stability and mush depth on Pilchuck after the recent snow this week. Beth.
