No rain, no sun, slightly sticky skiing, no pollen build up on skis,  2-4" slushy snow, except on 30+ degree slopes where we found good 1/4" corn. Glad we had a brunch BBQ 20 miles east of the pass waiting for improving weather before starting our tour at 1215.
Has anyone been to Chinook recently?  I’m thinking of heading up there Saturday and don’t see any TRs.

Yeah, there were a lot of people up there last weekend.  We did a complete circumnavigation of Naches Peak and a few laps in the bowl on the NE side. There is a lot of snow up there.  There was also a lot of small slide activity as the day warmed up.  We saw a quite a few point releases and slow moving wet slides.  There are still cornices along the ridge to Naches Peak, and we chose to not travel beneath them.  Others were more daring or less concerned.
