I took the TAY van loaded chock a block full of testosterone - 6 teen age boys and me down to Paradise. While the rest of the Paradise world went up, we went down - one lap into Barnes Flats from the parking lot, then 3 laps on the slopes past 4th crossing. Great snow! I brought back 5 extremely sun burned boys and one smart one. The 5 were shirtless all day, and no, they did not need sunscreen, Mr. Heath (Dad), even when I mentioned the pink tones coming on. Oh well, you can lead a horse to sun screen, but you can't make him rub it on...
It was a fabulous day to be out in the mountains. The boys had as much fun sliding, building kickers, playing capture the flag, and crossing snow bridges over the creeks, as I did climbing and skiing.
