We day-hiked to Ingall's Pass to pratice with rope and crampons. No turns this day. Although we did manage a couple of nice turbo-glissades masked as "self arrest practice."

The following shot is the north side of IP at about 6400'. Skiing the south side might yield a dozen turns, but this north side had some short yo-yo runs left on it for those who enjoy packing skis on their backs.

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0XACfAkAacays3qSsn1d6U42EOIE!hvIGg4hRaDcV1dxEV8I4JsEPHe9vcisFVHtHRlKMQLmwet*I5qgykAFh2WQDaTLK82LCfJ8crcZsO9DUi*WDX7WtJo5oSYIOMf*h1irPoA!8hhE/Ingalls%20Pass%205.21.05%20006.jpg?dc=4675523464209975559

That's right Kam, no skis.

I guess that's what I get for hanging out with these climbing types.
