Snowy, cloudy, breezy day most everywhere around the pass.  South slopes were dust on firm snow 7500-6500', with slightly warming corn before noon 6500-5500', north slopes had uphill wind dust on slightly breakable crust, above 7500' was 3-4" soft powder.  All slopes below 6500' were challenging for many of us.  The area was quite popular this weekend, tho there were a few empty parking spots here and there.
Save some meniscus for next year . . .

for powder y'all shoulda sat tight for Sunday... it's not exactly what we wanted, but it's what we got. Way more than forecasted. It just kept snowing and snowing and with the increasing load and wind effects on the exposed slopes we were crossing, not to mention the general white out conditions, we beat a retreat back to Easy Pass and totally enjoyed the conditions. Even got a little clearing late afternoon. Just wish I could've been there this morning too... before it all washes into the river.

Snow quality was almost as good as last Saturday at Snoqualmie, but a little heavier.

What do you expect, it's the N. Cascades... ;)
