THANKS EVERYONE ! With your help we (almost) have made it through another fantastic season. Last day today and a good one it is. Uphill travel restrictions are now pulled for the rest of the spring. Please tread lightly though, we have a bunch to do and will be working on the hill for several more weeks; using groomers, hauling equipment and the usual tear-down activities. Watch out for those sorts of things and be aware the lifts could start at any time without notice. -G

Thanks for the reminder Gib. Was thinking about that yesterday morning after the new snow fell Monday night.
Just for clarification, this is only the area considered to be "in bounds" right? Meaning climbing up Pineapple is always ok (open, closed......assuming avy conditions are ok).
Or what about the E gate area???? I could never see a reason why that would be a choice for a ski, yet just checking to see if it is off limits too???

Good clarification
Uphill rules apply to Permit Area, so that includes Back Bowls, Nash Gate terrain and Elevator as well. Need to access those areas only from inbounds and through the gates for the obvious reasons. You probably also saw this season a new boundary ropeline (with an always open gate) out on Draft Dodger this season...that one is the permit boundary so the area beyond is always all yours - which does include Pineapple.
Trying to make completely clear those last points of confusion.
Thanks

Just a reminder. The ski area is closed today and tomorrow for control work so we all can have fun this weekend. Go cinqo!

Just heard the first charge, there may have been others I missed earler. Stay clear of Alpy front and side country until lifts spin Saturday! Thanks for prepping the area for an awesome weekend.
