Headed up towards Kendall Stump today around 11AM. Found great snow, varied from around 3"-6" of fresh powder. Climbed to around 3700' then headed down. Made it back to the car around 1PM. It was snowing heavily the whole time. I didn't observe any instability, but talked to a group returning from Snoqualmie Mountain that reported slabby and reactive conditions.
I went up to Kendall Lake today with skinny skis. I set off a couple of small, slow moving slab avalanches. One was on part of the road and another was above it. Neither was very big and the runout on both was good, but it was still enough to make me nervous and stick to the trees.

I could barely see my tracks when I went down (the snow was coming down hard all day).
