Melissa & Mike Segars, Gordie and myself had honorable intentions of skiing the Paradise Glacier. Somehow we were magically pulled over to Nisqually chute. Excellent corn ski with just a little stickiness on the flats before the bridge. Stayed on left side all the way down. Impressive rock slide on west side below snout but didn't block anything off. River is filled in nicely till about 1000' from bridge. I think we spoiled Melissa it was her first time AT skiing at Paradise

You must be the party of 4 (or so) we saw making the approach to the chute while we were still skinning up. Nicely done.
Most likely that was us.we were down to the bridge by 2 .We stopped for lunch by the flats at the moraine. There was a party of two ahead of us.
