The Truc Dawn Posse (Pablo P., Colin K, Dave, Dan , Petra, Truc & me) arrived at the Upper Alpy p.lot at O'dark thirty(5 AM) to stars and crust(breakable). Made good time on firm, yet warm conditions. Lots of sweat for crust which turned to unpredictable corn at 7am above 5,300' Topped out of the East Basin of Chair peak(the bowl before the North Slope) with a steep & deep boot pack to 6,000' at 8 am.
We reminded ourselves this was better than sitting at a computer multiple time before dropping in to rapidly softening conditions. Good exercise, poor skiing as avi debris in the upper and lower basin along with a soft , supportable crust made the skiing the exercise.
